We are YAXI!

YAXI is a transport service for youth aged between 12 & 25 of the Ballina shire. At YAXI we advocate for social connection and living a healthy lifestyle. YAXI aims to provide affordable and safe transport to young people that may have limited access to public transport and therefore limited options when it comes to social and recreational choices.

We are a non-for profit organisation and are fortunate to be able to offer subsidised costs as we are provided yearly funding from Transport for NSW.
​
Choose a time and a date and we will pick you and your group up from your front door and take you to where you want to go.
​
There is a minimum of 10 people required. We like to get at least a week’s notice to book the perfect bus for you.

Where can YAXI take you?
​
YAXI Can take you as far as Brisbane, Gold Coast, Coffs Harbour and local trips around Ballina and surrounding shires. The beach, Music concerts (alcohol free), Large sporting events, Skate parks, Out for lunch or dinner at restaurants, The cinema, Bounce, Ice-skating, Shopping, Paint ball, Theme Parks, Local events, Plus more….

"So I recently travelled with ten other friends to the Gold Coast using YAXI services. It cost us each $20 for a return trip and we were able to choose the pick up and drop of locations. Our bus driver, Pete, was incredibly friendly and dropped us off and picked us up right out the front of the venue so we didn't have to walk anywhere and when we hoped on the bus he made sure everyone was there and ok. He was also considerate of any last minute changes and agreed to make a few extra stops closer to our homes. Overall it was a great experience as it meant we didn't have to deal with the stress of using public transport and it was incredibly cheap considering how far we travelled.
